To ensure a smooth and successful oral surgery procedure, please carefully follow these pre-operative instructions:

Before Your Surgery:

  • Medications:
    • Inform us of all medications you are currently taking, including prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, and herbal supplements.
    •
    • If you are taking blood thinners, you may need to adjust your dosage or stop taking them temporarily before your surgery. Please consult with your physician and our oral surgeon.
  • Food and Drink:
    • Do not eat or drink anything for at least 6-8 hours before your scheduled surgery, unless otherwise instructed by our team. This includes water, gum, and candy.
  • Clothing:
    • Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows easy access to your arm for IV sedation (if applicable).
    • Avoid wearing jewelry, makeup, or contact lenses.

  • Transportation:
    • Arrange for a responsible adult to drive you to and from your appointment, as you will not be able to drive yourself after receiving sedation or anesthesia.
